History timeline
1. 7. 1996
Mr. Jiří Kotas establishes the company Ing. Jiří Kotas, which for more than a 1/4 of a century is engaged in the operation, lease maintenance of railway vehicles and railway transport security.
14. 6. 2003
Jiří Kotas founded together with his friends - railway fans and co-workers an occasional association called the Club of Friends of Railway Vehicles Brno, whose aim was to save older railway vehicles, especially of Czechoslovak production, their repair and preservation for future generations.
This association has managed to preserve more than 100 vehicles, which would have ended up in scrap if not for this activity, many of the pieces of this unique collection have survived only in 1 specimen in the world.
6. – 10. 10. 2024
This project determined the further development of the company - a complete logistics project, which Ing. Jiří Kotas has secured for a foreign customer - securing the transport of an RID train on the route H-PL-RO.
25. 11. 2024
Mr. Jiří and Adam Kotas founded a low-cost locomotive rental company JKS RAIL CZECHIA s.r.o. and a forwarding company RAIL FREIGHT TOGETHER - CZ s.r.o., engaged in the operation and rental of vehicles, providing complete logistics services in Central Europe, nearby landlocked countries.
